A wide variety of views of the container shipping industry. A kind that many people are not aware of unless you work in it. The gantry cranes are very very high and able to lift up to roughly 60 tons cargo (the equivalent of 50/60 European cars in one go).
If one day you're able to stand on the bridge of one of those container vessels and then look down onto the quay believe me that it's impressive.

Great to see these whoppers in the LA decor. Makes a change from seeing the same ones in the Le Havre decor (I have one in BW on my Le Havre gallery).

ah you have some more big toys here for the big boys... so clear and hot colors.. vibrant, just like you.
Poor Joe is definitely getting the worst of it.. I think the 'eye' is headed right for him. I hope he went further inland and to high ground. As you can see, I still have power... of the electrical type. But soon off to bed.. storm is suppose to hit landfall by midnight.. witching hour so well timed.

Hiya Golden Girl (as in aura of beauty and joy...not those old dames;). Yes.. I am nuts and bolting and saving the dazzles for after the build up or...something for the boys who like big toys?? Thanks for looking my way :). I was just watching the news, and it looks like Jeanne is more after Joe than you, but she is HUGE, and how are you all?? I am such a dope over here on the West Coast. You see what it looks like today and yesterday in these pics. (I feel almost guilty...almost:). Hugs Diva of All Things Artistic :)
