Wonderful capture. I have to echo Claude's comment about the lighting. It really is stunning. From the hidden sun, backlit clouds, reflected light at the water right of frame down to the slight lens flare at the left of the frame. It all works together to lend atmosphere and texture to the scene.
Also, the subjects are walking in pairs (almost all at least). Those closest to the foreground are even holding hands conveying shared intimate moments. Their plurality brings the image beyond the common than if it had been only one couple by suggesting the lengthy journey of forming a relationship.
One vote is not enough.
Plus, I also have this lens, but unfortunately not nowhere near the talent.
