This evening I went for a walk with my fiancee and our dogs. While walking up towards the river I saw this bearded mountain man and his friend all geared up for this run but no canoe in sight. That, in itself, made for an interesting picture but I was unprepared at the time. As it turns out, during our walk along the river I looked back to see the two making their way down the small rapids.
