Great shot with very unusual color pallete! Crisp and crinkly! V

You captured its fragility and its moodiness in a beautiful way. As it's about to wither and be forgotten, you gave it back a life, perhaps a last chance to unfold its beauty before our eyes... It's amazing, Craig. Voted.

The beauty of decay!

Ossified. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, we all fall down...
Guest 11-Jan-2007 05:30
Terrific how even without details in the background, you still manage to give a 3D isolation feel. The light is superb, and the subject very elegant. Vote.

Belle composition... j'aime la douce lumière
jude11-Jan-2007 01:01
The backlighting just edges this delicately. I get the feeling if one touched, it could easily crumble.. yet the spine of it curves and holds steadfast.
One of my all-time favorites, Craig..
