Superb parallel (and parallels)! Some seem to associate the two, I think they are cleverly brought together by you, the photographer. Beautiful work!

love those differences...

Well seen!! I mean, it's easy to say that, now that I'm sitting here looking at your photo in my screen, but the truth is that I think that if I was there, looking at the same things I would never have thought that they would work in a photo..

There has already been said everything about this excellent image in previous comments. I just like it! GMV

I have recently uploaded a shot to my galleries, which is different, but similar in the fact that it is a combination of a modern telecommunication tower and a couple of old cathedral towers - I call it 'Tele-communications Towers', as I feel the spires of the church also in a way symbolize 'tele-communications'. Much the same as here...

Maybe it says that technology and modern times "out do (as lawrence said)" the old and beautiful?

Wonderful Juxtaposition Craig

You are a genius Craig! Perfect metaphore!

This takes the concept from last time a little further. I agree with JD's comment that this is the European model - but maybe the church in a US equivalent would also be a mast in disguise. Controversial! v.

Love this. Reminds me of the preoccupation of some countries / cities to "out do" each other and build taller and taller buildings. So many interesting debates to have about this... My thoughts paralleled JD's. The thing I also like is how the tower on the right looks over stretched... maybe one ambition too far...

Very well seen again. V

Terrific work. GMV

An excellent metaphore. Which of them has more power? In North America, the struggle would be tough, but the louder voice would come from the left. In Europe, I would bet on the right.

Elegant comparison!!
