Visited Osaka with my family and friends for a few days in a hot August in 2005. Like Hong Kong, Osaka is a busy city with good foods and many attractive spots. We stayed in the Swissotel in Nanba (難波), it is a decent and well located hotel. Staff are nice and can be communicated with simple English. Dotonbori (道頓堀) is certainly a place for fun and good foods.
