Eventually I acquired the 5D MkII. This is an expensive body (at least to me). Since there are already many excellent reviews of this camera on line, I would not repeat them in details. In gist, the 5D MkII has excellent image quality and resolution. All my L lenses can be much better utilized now, specially those wide angle lenses. Below are some test shots which are directly converted from RAW to Jpeg and re-sized with Photoshop. No additional sharpening and NR were applied.
