At least 100 dead fish of all sizes were found in the ponds and on the grassy areas surrounding the ponds at Andrew Haydon Park. Also reported were dead crayfish, frogs, geese and muskrat.
It is feared that these were caught up in the low waters before the winter and ended up freezing to death and that when the high amounts of snow melted these fish surfaced.
