This is a scanned imaged of my(Miles Carver) grandfather, Alvin Dea Carver. He was born 23 March 1896, and died in August of 1969. He was born in Cookville, TN and died in Highland Park, MI. Grandpa's last wife was Helen Cummings. Grandpa was a laborer, and worked in an auto factory in MI. It is believed that he is holding my uncle Lonny Carver in this image. That would make this picture taken around 1928, in Detroit, MI.
