The Mangturm in Lindau, Germany, on an island in Bodensee, also known as Lake Constance. This tower was built around 1200 and was part of Lindau's fortifications. It also formerly served as a lighthouse.

The Diebsturm (Thieves' Tower) in historic Lindau. This round watchtower was built between 1370-1380.

Peterskirche, located in Lindau, is the oldest church in the entire Bodensee region, dating back to 1180. This church now serves as a memorial to German war heros. Inside are frescoes dating from the 13th to 16th centuries.

The Altes Rathaus (old town hall) of Lindau was constructed between 1422-36. The wonderfully painted facade is a sight to behold.

Stephanskirche dates back to the 12th Century and was subsequently remodelled. Its current form dates back to 1783. Orignally a Catholic church, it became a Protestant church in the year 1528. Today it was a Lutheran church. In the foreground is a fountain, featuring Neptune.

Stiftskirche originates back to Benedictine monks who settled in the Lindau region in around the year 800. Remnants of the original pre-Romanesque construction, around 948, are preserved in the church's west wall. The churchs present form dates to 1748-55, after being destroyed by fire in 1728.
