What a delight to go through this and all your other galleries Tony.Some really good images throughout.It's hard to do Cape Breton justice but you have.I've only been there once and certainly want to go back.Saw the Rankins a bit ago, a great concert that also made me think of your wonderful part of Canada. Tony, Fabulous pictures of a fabulous island. My mother, brother and his wife, aunts and cousins still live in and around Baddeck. My husband and myself also lived there for a couple of years, but couldn't make a living and have since returned to the U.S. However, your pictures make me want to move back. I do go to visit a couple of times a year and that helps. But I sure do miss it. Thank you for your pictures. Ann

Awesome. I am from India(live in India too), but have been to Cape Breton Island once, and spent 15 days just going around that island. I have never seen anything like it before. Everything about the place is beautiful, the scenary, the people.. just everything. And you have managed to capture just like it is in your pictures. They are very nice. :)

Tony them pictures where awsome i've been traveling back and forth from the cape to alberta and back and home will never be alberta lol. But when you have a young boy to look after and the work isn't here you have no other choice.So take care nice pics.

The pictures are absolutely great! I can see that you have enjoyed your time in Cape Breton just as much as I have. It is a unique place full of the freedom of open spaces and the comfort of a small town. I would recommend Cape Breton as a destination for any traveller.

Love the pictures of Benacadie and Benacadie West. I spent a lot of time there growing up but I have lived away now for 19 years. It is so nice to see it captured in photos so others can enjoy it.

You have truly captured the heart of Cape Breton in your photos. I congratulate you. I was born in Glace Bay, where I lived for the first 24 years of my life. I go back home whenever I can, which is every three years or so. Thank you for giving me a new appreciation of my native land through your wonderful pictures.

Was looking at your gallery and you should really consider getting some of these photos done as prints and sell them. They are great. I'm from ohio, my wife and I were in cape breton this past june, what a pretty island . After seeing your photos it makes me wish I lived there. We are coming back in a couple years,this time for aonger stay and with a lot better camera and tons of film.

I came apon your beautiful site when I Googled Wentwoth Park in Sydney...I wanted to find a picture of the old Bandstand (no longer standing). I was born in Sydney and lived there with my Ma until the age of 10 and then I moved to Glacebay to live with my Da...I have always had more of a connection to the Bay then Sydney but I do have very fond memories of The old Bandshell and concerts in the park. I was happy to see that you do have one picture of the Park on your site and some very nice pictures of Glacebay and the harbour. I'm living in BC and It's time I went home for a visit...and looking at your pictures have added fuel to my fire. Time to book a ticket!

Tony, I came across your site by accident, and what an absolute joy. I am a huge fan of Rita MacNeil who was born in Big Pond and lives part of the time in Big Pond and has her tea rooms there. I just love the photos and I have passed on your link to Rita - I'm sure she will enjoy seeing these photos of her beautiful Cape Breton. Absolutely love these pictures. I am a displaced Cape Bretoner living in London and missing everything about that beautiful island. I am a fortunate person to have grown up in such a wonderful place and can hardly wait for the day I can move back home. For now these pictures are a wonderful link to the island I've left behind for the time being.
