Pocatello, Idaho Airport. Unloading for an autocross. Looks cold and damp.
I want to take the time to talk briefly about the car. It is a 1964 Bobsy Vangard Formula Vee. When new it was raced in Canada and New York. I like to say that its claim to fame is that it was rolled at Watkins Glen.
If memory serves me right I bought the car from a guy in Springfield Mo. the previous fall for $1,100.00. I paid $500.00 for the trailer. The car was sort of running but in rough shape. The Yellow nose cone had been cut off and great big holes roughly cut into it for a big wing. I had the nose fixed by a body shop friend and Jerry rigged it to fit the car with Duct Tape.
More later.
