I try to examine the body as a structure much the same as a house is a construction of parts that hold together to create a solid form. The superimposition of transparent figures also explores the connection between ourselves, and our relationships, including those with external and internal conflicts. Plus, I hope to represent our constant state of transition. Collage work overlaps organic and geometric lines in an attempt to unify a framework that encompasses our sensuous nature as physical beings. In trying to capture the landscape and the human form I respond not only the physical but also the metaphorical the spiritual and psychological beauty I feel and see.
