I am sort of new to the painter forum and had just posted some images that you commented on. Thank you. I went to your gallery and am so impressed. You have so much variety in the styles you use. In all of them the light is fabulous. Are you a portrait photographer? I am. I am just new to this painter stuff although I've sold handcolored portraits for 13 years. Are you selling you sports and portrait images? How is that going. I'd love to share.
For some reason, your pictures really cheered me up.

Carrie - you asked about my image in DigitalNuts:
"how did I chop it up"
After I'd made a "painting" of the original camellia I selected the grid in Photoshop and I started cutting out nine equal squares and pasting them into another blank canvas - rearranging the oder as I went along. I ended up with a 9 square image. I merged all the layers into one. The I selected bits of that one and flipped them various directions.
Check out my abstract gallery to see more of this effect - I have fun doing it - I haven't gotten a formula for the placement of the squares - I fiddle with them like one of those puzzles that has one square missing and you have to put them in order.
Some true talent here :)
Hi Carrie, you do great work and your talent is amazing!
Which part of the Woeck tree are you on? Are you related to Richard? My father is Pete Woeck, my grand father is Peter Woeck, my great grandfather is Herman Woeck. I'd be curious to find out where you fall.
I have heard that you have a great son, you should give him a raise in his allowence.
I saw the comment from Andrea and was wondering if you had her email address....I used to change her diapers (now she's really going to love me putting this as a comment!
Best Wishes! You're No. 1 Fan!!!

Carrie, The pictures of Matt are great! Look so much like Mike.
Hi Carrie. I was wondering if you were married into this family. If so can you please tell me who you married. I been doing a family tree and I trying to keep it up. By the way if you been chatting with Michaela Woeck, we are related.
Carrie, I thought I would check to see if there were any new pictures of Braden. I didn't know Erin had Jacob. Crazy stuff, this family! I hope all is well & tell everyone hello. -Thanks, Andrea
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org if you can suggest tutorials or books. You should think about a book yourself on Painter. I would buy it.
I am amazed by your work here. Im a high school srt teacher and Ive been trying out the trial version of Painter. Now Ive got to get it for my students. You're work inspired me. Any suggestions on tutorials or books to assist me in learning more about Painter. I'm skilled with Photohsop already but new to Painter.
Very good photography.
Thank you Shayron,
That is quite a compliment coming from you. I have really admired your work!
my name is Michaela Woeck, I'm 20 years old and I come from Germany. When I read your name on the internet I wondered that somebody in America had the same name like me. In Germany "Woeck" is a very rarely spread name. Do you know where your ancestors come from?? I think it would be nice if we were, by accident, relatives. It would be great if you wrote back.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Twister season and appreciate the talent and dedication of the coaches, players and their families. Special thanks to Carrie for her coverage.
Enjoy the grand finale in Anaheim with fun on and off the field.
