Cromarty East church

The now seldom unused East Church in Cromarty a grade A listed building made it into the BBC program Restoration Village but didn't win. On Monday 12th March 2007 it was awarded £641,000 from the National Lottery fund which will help in it's restoration which will take about three years. It was established in the middle ages but most of it's architecture is from the 16th and 17th century's.
It's well worth a visit if you visit the Black Isle just North of Inverness.
