Weighing a massive 5 pounds and sporting a 112mm front element, this lens pairs nicely with my SMC Pentax-F 1.7x AF Teleconverter to make a 510mm f/4.7 autofocus lens.
It can focus down to about 8 feet, making it usable for close-ups, too.
