Krabi

Krabi is a very interesting place. We can see many different sites, mangroves, caves, temples, beaches…

Mu Kho Hong: There are a lot of small islands. The main ones are: Laga or Saga Island , Lao Riem Island , and Lao Lading Island . Kho Hong is the largest. It is rocky with coral formations in both shallow and deep waters.

Tham Pee Hua To: It's a large cave with many grottos, situated on a hill in the middle of the water, surrounded by mangroves. Long ago, a human skull of larger than ordinary size was found in the cave from which came the name "Pee Hua Toe" or "Big-headed ghost", aside from this, there are a lot of prehistoric drawings on the cave walls representing people, animals, and various organs. There are also vast numbers of shells in the sedimentary rock.

Tham Lod caves: By canoe boat, it is very impressive to see the stalactites and stalagmites of the cave.

Tiger cave: It is a small temple built inside a long shallow limestone cave, surrounded by natural forest. The temple, one of the south's most famous meditation centers, takes its name from a stone formation nearby which resembles a tiger's claw. There are about 250 monks and nuns live in the temple compound. There are learning a form of Buddhism called Vipassana, which is based on the teachings of the earliest Buddhist texts. In the main temple cave, you will find bizarre photos of internal organs and split cadavers, which are supposed to reinforce the temporary nature of the body.
It leads with one 1,237 steps to the top of the mountain offering a superb 360-degree view. Reaching the top will reward you with an incredible landscape encompassing the Andaman Sea, distant islands, limestone karsts and forests. There is a huge sitting Buddha, a golden pagoda and a few other small constructions at the top.

Than Bokkhoranee Waterfall : The water in Than Bokkhoranee is green due to the deposit of diluted calcide from the surrounding mountains. The inner pond,120 square metres in size, is quite deep. The source of Morakot Pond is between Khao Wong and Ao Mai Dam. It is a watershed that branches off into streams, some of which come together to form Morakot Pond.
