Kingbird Coughing Up a Pellet

Owls cough up pellets of those things it cannot digest. Well Kingbirds, and other birds, do the same thing. This is a young Kingbird, I think, since its coloration isn't quite the same as the adult. It looks like a very painful process. Notice the nicotating membrane is over the eye. I have five shots in the series. It actually happened pretty fast. It's the first time I've seen it done.
