Male Red-Bellied Woodpecker

I put the images of the male and female side by side so the sex differences can be seen. What I like about both images is that you can see the red belly on each bird. That is often something that is not seen so many people don't understand why this woodpecker is called a Red-Bellied . They want to confuse it with a Red-Headed Woodpecker.
