This was the calm after the cyclone. The sailfish slowed down and circled me 3 times. I could see its large eye questioning me, as if to say "What did you do with my lunch?". If only I had more film, I could have kept shooting (yes, this was before underwater digital cameras were popular; I was limited to 36 shots on my dives).
