4 years have gone by since we lost our belowed westie. We did not want to introduce a new puppy as long as we had the two other old dogs around, and when the last dog died in May 07, we decided that maybe it was time after 20+ years with dogs finally to enjoy the freedom of having no dogs and no responsability. We gave the 2 of the 3 baskets away - painted the scratched doors and bought new furniture. We never really took advantage of our new freedom, however. After almost one dog-free year, we have come to the conclusion that a dog (=a westie) is esential for our mental and physical well-being. So on the 6th of March we brought the 8 weeks old pup home from "Bahialuna" in Rota near Cadiz, and a new era was about to begin.
