In Spain there are plenty of dogs - unfortunately many abandoned or ill-treated. We rescued the little fluffy mongrel "Bimbo" in August 1991. 2 years later 1993 we got a Westie for our daughter and as company for Bimbo, and just half a years later, the gardener found a tiny puppy in his shed that needed food and care instantly - and of course we did not hessitate.
We enjoyed 11 happy years with the 3 dogs together, then Mickey died. 1 1/2 years later Bimbo died, and finally "Elvis left the building" on the 22nd of May 2007.
The end of an era with our 3 spanish dogs. We will keep the good memories alive in our hearts and on pbase.
