Greater Flamingo in Thailand

Out at sea, Lam Pak Bia, 150 km SW Bangkok

A lone Flamingo has been seen on the coastside outside Phetchaburi, south of Bangkok. We were very lucky to see it outside Lam Pak Bia research station.
This is an introduced bird, probably from a nearby zoo and it doesn't count as a lifer. Anyway it was a thrill to see such a spectacular bird in the wild, introduced or not.
