White-browed Piculet

Kaeng Krachan National Park, Thailand

While photographing a Trogon I heard a small bird nearby. I had a quick look and saw this Piculet looking for food on an old branch. So which bird do you choose between then, a Trogon or a Piculet? The Piculet of course! Such a cute bird but difficult to capture. This one was really hyperactive and only still for a very short moment every 5 seconds something. Due to the low light I used live view and just shot as many pictures I could. Out of about 50 shots only one came out sharp. But that's enough.
