Here are some of my pictures from what's turning into a coast to coast trip.

I didn't have a clue where I would start so I'd figured I would think about it with a slow ride down the 109 miles of Skyline Drive in Virginia through the Shenandoah Valley. That ended at the Natural Bridge, which is actually higher then Niagara Falls!

With all that time to think I decided to ride to Nags Head N.C. to pick up a couple of Harley tee shirts and watch a sunrise. The water in the Atlantic is still salty, I checked.

That gave me the idea of a coast to coast trip to see Mt. Saint Helen's and a few other sites along the way. I'll keep updating my pictures as I get a chance. I stopped back home to pickup a camera cord I thought I had and to switch the bike for my truck. I can make better time and the weather channel keeps showing nothing but rain in the mid west. I know I'll regret getting off the bike but I did get to put 1,260 miles on already and watched it turn 50,000 at the Cape Hatteras lighthouse.

Another change of plans..
Once I went to the garage to move the Harley to a better spot, when I sat on it I couldn’t leave it at home! So I unpacked my bags and repack my Harley touring bags and off I went. What’s a little rain.. been there, rode through that before! Now I’m sitting in Columbus for the night waiting out a lighting storm. Sunny days and more pictures will be found again!

Update from Kansas.. My left exhaust pipe weld broke and the pipe dropped down after hitting some rough roads under construction coming our of St. Louis. Check out the St. Louis pictures for a further update.

Update from Pikes Peak.. Great ride up the mountain. The pictures are ready for viewing!

Update from South Dakota.. Touring the Crazy Horse mountain carving and Mount Rushmore. Also toured the South Dakota Air and Space Museum to see a training missle silo.
