Nik

These images were edited with Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 filter plugins for Photoshop. My first impression of this software is "WOW". There are 50+ filters in the package and I think I'll end up using all but, maybe, 10. The filters are primarily for editing an image's color, though there are also soft-focus, vignetting, glow, and other non-color related filters. The well laid out interface makes this package a pleasure to work with. One word of caution, this package makes it too easy to generate over saturated "cheap" looking images. Use the adjustment sliders and "control points" to tone down the effects a bit. As always, when you start with an image that has good composition and exposure you have a better chance of success with your edits. Don't look at the Nik filters as your only tool. Use it in conjunction with other Photoshop tools.
