High Dynamic Range (HDR) images. Most are created by taking two or more photos at different exposures and combining them using various programs. Typically, I take three exposures -2.0EV (under exposed), 0.0EV (correct exposure), and +2.0EV (over exposed). HDR allows you to capture more details in shadows and highlights.
