ito lng d ko maintindihan sa batch namin. BATCH 83 mas kilala pa yong nag aral nang isang taon , 2 or tatlo. Kung hindi lang dahil sa mga pinsan ko na kilalang kilala sa alma mater. d talaga ako mag attend sa silver na reunion na yun.

Yes, oi I knew pagkamatay ni Popsie. Naka attend ko sa misa sa 40 dias ug didto mi nanga-on sa tindahan ni Stephen Alcudia. Kami nila ni Ronnie, Gali, Zuchie ug si Teban.
Usa ra akong anak, she is 14 yr. old na. Iyang ninang si Zuchie ug si Bebot Vivero.
Aw, naa diay ka sa Davao, abi nako to ug naa ka sa Mandaue. Maayo nalang kay dali rang pag bisita sa atoa. Hope next time maka join ko sa homecoming.

Ako pud, maski nia ra sa Pilipinas, once or twice a year lang pud maka adto sa Carcar. unya kadali lang pud kaayo, I stay in Cebu one or two days lang , uinya uli dayon sa land of Durian. (Davao Ba!) Ha ha ha. Do you know that popsie died already? God bless his soul. the last time we met with our classmates was in December 2002 pa. But Zuchie is always there to update me on "what's on in Carcar".

I was there in Cebu last November till the end of January. I had a wonderful time bonding with my dear old Mom before she pass away last Jan 9, 2009.

Elbe or Beth as I used to call you. We are batchmate and I would like to see also the boys class picture. You know, of the girls class picture, only leting (PaulitaYbanez) who has not changed much, I cannot really identify the rest of the girls with full certainty, not even you in the group. Ha ha ha......where's miss Cui in this picture?..ah maybe she's beside the cameraman making gestures (of course with the stick on hand) to make you behave or else...PITI! I really like that kind of discipline not hte kind that the present faculty is imposing because they're afraid of the law which makes most of the children very powerful and threat to the community.Serious man ug kalit... kumusta mo diha uy!!! may reunion na sad ta? when? TO ALUMNI /ADMIN OFFICERS:

Good day and CONGRATULATIONS to your latest and successful homecoming
last JULY 15, 2007.

It would not be a great success without the full support of your
alumni officers who poured all there time and effort to make the event
with
a blessed result.

But allow me to share my concern and some desperation to the
organization and to the officers themselves. I just want to open the
mind to
any officer on this alumni organization had sometimes forgotten there
obligations and time to there respective families.

Sad to say that I am not a member, but one of my friend and colleague
has a partner in life who is a devoted alumni officer in your school
St. Catherine's College, Carcar, Cebu. This friend shared to me the
frustrations and disappointment to his/ her partner and to the extent
of
the organization because it bitten the valuable time supposed to be
for
the family.

My friend told me that his/ her partner cannot do excuses not to
attend in scheduled meetings kay masuko daw ang uban officer.Mo inggon
pa
nga dili dayonon if dili siya maka attend. Maybe it’s reasonable for
the organization and to the leadership, but sometimes they forgot that
each and every officer has also much important family time and
obligations to attend.

Maybe perme ma-conflict or bad timing ang inyong schedules kay its
also the time nga magkatapok pud tingali unta sila with his/her
partner
and the kids.

My friend told me that there was a time they supposed have to go out
for an important gathering with the kids on such date but cannot push
through kay na-a lagi kuno meeting sa alumni and this officer di ka
balibad nga mo-excuse for that day..

Another incident, nga they had already fixed a schedule to go with
the burial of a very closed relative at 3:00pm. But it was until
4:45pm
nga nahuman ang meeting so wala sila ka attend for that last moment/
burial. And naka pa-it kay ang akong friend pa ang gikasuk-an sa
officer
ngano nga wa cya mo-apas sa St. Catherine were the meeting was held,
which is dili mao ila sabot. The officer said that the meeting suppose
to
starts at 1:30 and will end at 3:00pm. So my friend expected it, but
until such time, no to avail for there schedule.

Also, kana pud kuno mga assignments and tasks. Na-a kuno uban officer
nga dili busy ug have the transport and other resources mao dili
taga-an ug task nga lakaw-lakaw or canvassing or whatever. Kadto nu-on
mga
busy ug walay resources ma-oy tahasan.

Sometimes my friends partner (officer) di nalang gani mo-uli sa house
for lunch kay hadlok ma late sa meeting depraving the obligation nga
na-a iya mga anak nag wait sa lunch.

So much grievances that my friend had told me but I cannot elaborate
it all. Only what I wish for your alumni organization and to the
officers that you should be considerate and compassionate enough to
your co-
alumni officer. You must think that all of us have a family which
needs
more quality time and care.

Hope you can realize that is it not good to see that the organization
and events will be successful, but on the other side there are
families that will suffer.

Thank you and hope that this matter will be brought to your attention
and proper action must be resolved.

Perhaps, it's just a year being here but I still remember my teachers and classmates in high school - First Year St. Agnes Class '84. hello to each and everyone,am so proud bein a part of saith catherines college. i love dominican sisters specially Sister Evangeline Balagtas Bec she is the reason who make my life change right after the help she gave me,theyre all supportive of me,sister balagtas is a person who accept and inlighten my mind and looking forward things whod possible happen,because of her iam not complete she brought me in the San Juan Metro Manila in there school.me and mum stay there almost a month,staying in the guess room.they take good care of us even in their hospital St.Martin De Poress. Inaasikaso ako which is too much..ang babait nang mga tao sa hospital,i meet and been a good friend of mine Doctor Paz,D. hes always there for me no matter what,he will check me twice a day! giving advice and cheering me up. My palate now are already close and i can spoke clearly,thanks be to god,jesus is so good ever... thanks god with out Dominican siters iam not like these.....i love you all...this is, RODMEAH ORIO.....

Day, thanks again for your offer to help defray the expenses for snacks during the coming SCS reunion. Aida Barcenas, who's Carcar-based, is presently doing the legwork in contacting as many classmates and teachers as possible. Jojo Garcia is also taking care of our Manila-based classmates.We also have a group of about twelve classmates from different parts of the world, who regularly email each other for updates on the reunion plans. So, we'll all see you there!

Yes, you're absolutely right...we can share the cost of the snacks. You're also right, I'm not from Carcar, but from Naga. I left PI as a teenager. Finished Junior High, High School, and College stateside. However, still keep a close contact with my grade school friends from Carcar. Ang akong mga kadungan sila si Maritoni Litorja, Fe Lynn Rodriguez, Cleofe Languido, Rosa Enriquez, Pagusara twins: Day Lou & Mawi, Gigi Fano, Luzell Marfore, etc. I'm also the younger sister of Lydia Alcudia, Madam Alcudia's daughter-in-law.

I'm not sure if you remember Marietta Mora from Tinaan. She's my Godmother. She's around your high school days, I believe. Anyways, I'm glad to see a lot of alumni are involved and excited. We'll keep in touch to work out the details on the shared cost.

This is in response to Leah T's question...Yes, batch '66 is trying to contact and invite as many teachers as we can. Since you're almost 20 yrs. behind our group, I doubt if we have the same set of teachers. For sure, Charito Montecillo Rigodon, our hs classmate, became your teacher. We may have one or more common teachers ug maayo na lang if you can help defray the costs for snacks, since that's one responsibility given to us during the December reunion. ....By the way, kinsa man, day, ang imong mga hs classmates? Sorry, but your last name doesn't ring a bell, so you might not be a lumad nga Carcaranon. Thanks for trying to reconnect with former SCS students.

Batch '66, Congratulations indeed, for being our Ruby Jubilarians! I was on a business trip in Hong Kong & Manila a few days ago, and managed to fly in to Cebu to meet with my Batch '81 reunion committee. Since we are the Silver Jubilarians this year, it is an honor to be sharing the homecoming event with you. Ne ne sorry kaayo to contradict your 100% about ni Divina Caballero. Wala si Divina Caballero ma-belong sa class 1966 pag-graduate niya sa SCS high school, kundili sa class 1967. I've seen the grad. photo of class 1967 and Divina apil siya sa posing. Also about Carmela Campanon, she was not in your class either. Though classmates kamo niya sa kinder, elementary and 1st yr and maybe 2nd yr ba kadto, ningtransfer man kana siya sa Carcar Academy ug didto siya motiwas sa iyang highschool. Sus, sorry kaayo sa "mortal sin" ni Ne-ne ug akoy mangabogada niya. Unsaon nga ang graduation picture man namo ang gibasehan niya sa iyang pag roll call. Maybe, at the time nga nag shooting namo si Noy Midyo adtong panahona, tua pa si Leah sa ilang Shirley, ilang silingan sa Cogon, kay nagpa kopyur pa sa buhok. Dili man to madali-dali ang pag "tease" ug pagpasirit sa spray net sa buhok adtong panahona intawon uy! So, sorry lang kaayo, Leah! . I know Leah will understand ug kahibawo na man pod ni siya about our December reunion kay maayo man kaayo ni siya ug radar. Altho Iligan-based na siya, she even attended our mini-reunion in Cebu when I went home last June 2004.... Leah, kung ugaling makabasa ka niini, pasayloa lang intawon, day, si Angelita kay wa gyuy sa (maragsa, ni Miss Florido pa) ang buta....aw, ang gasugod na ug gi Alzheimer's nimong ka batch! See ya!
