WHen do the nests hatch and when do yall release them to the public? when u have them and u put them on the sand and release them and the tourists/ppl who live ther can watcha and take pictures? u sure r gonna have a LOT of baby sea turtles to release! 21 one nests x 110 eggs = 2310 baby sea turtles!!!!!!!!!!!!! and thats just the nests that u have found!

I recently had the privilege of cleaning a couple of sea turtles and their tanks. I can't tell you how fun and enjoyable it was to pitch in and help a very good cause. Let me encourage you all, who are interested in learning more about these wonderful animals, to come out and see what the Sea Turtle project on South Padre Island is all about. It's a good thing and the people who work there are the greatest, not to mention how fun it is to check out the sea turtles and learn more about these amazing animals who call the ocean home.

when i went with my class from F.D.Roosevelt I like the way they told us how they helped them and how they treat them.After the little scit that they had put on I got to feed Jerry and brush him it was cool I leaned that he was very ageresive.When I went to Merry Chirstmas`s tank a boy was sceaming and she had got scared and slash water with her flipper.There was a boy in my group and Merry Chirstmas went to him his name was Jamaal I also got to feed her.Thank You for letting us go.YOU PEOPLE ROCK!!!!!!!

Yesterday, March 31,2009 I watched as a 200lb plussea turtle emerged from the ocean waters onto the Beach in north Mazatlan. She produced 91 eggs at a depth of approx. 2 feet. When finished two "turtlepolice" who were called to monitor her progress lifted her from the nest and dug up the eggs.They then took them away where they would be incubated for approx.45 days and then released back into the sea at the site from which they had been laid. Talk about being at the right place at the right time!

We brought our family from IL this last week to South Padre. Our four children loved meeting Jerry and getting to feed him. I have been a turtle lover all my life and it is a joy to see the quality work you all are involved in. If I had the time i might love to intern!! We are traveling to South Padre Island over Christmas. We would love to visit the turtles while we are there. Thanks for the great info on this site. Our kids can study the turtles before we come down.

My friend Cathy & I visited your wonderful facility on Sept. 04th 2008 and we were very impressed and had a wonderful time there. You are doing wonderful work helping to save a magnificent creature from extinction. We appreciate all that you do there. It was one of the highlights of our Padre Island vacation.

oomg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am in love with turtles they are the best animal in the world. i have been to seaturtle inc twice. and the things yell do is amazing and i want to help out with saving the turtles as much as i posibly can.

I really enjoyed feeding Jerry, he was such a good boy and came over to the window for me so his picture could be taken with me showing him the lettuce. Hope Marley is doing well too, he didn't want to pose for me so I could get his picture with his head out of the water!!! All of their pictures came out great. Where can I get a pen with the turtles all over it, I lost mine.
