Little garden within Wat Phra Kaeow in Chiang Rai. The temple is famous for being the place where the Emerald Buddha, which now resides in the temple of the same name in Bangkok, was found, but its most memorable feature are the lush gardens.
I nearly got drenched when some guys drove around with a huge truck, watering all the vegetation. Every little bit of room was decked out in miniature plants or orchids.
This was my favourite corner. Amazing what you can do with a bowl of water, a few ickle plants and some pottery. And lots of sun, of course. I wonder whether I could recreate this in my back yard?
