This model originated with Paul Breisch who later sold out to Jay Peters. It is much like the Associated "Hired Man" but smaller. It was offered in two models, an air cooled and a hopper cooled. I've never seen the air-cooled "Lil' Brother" engine before and bought it from a collector a couple of years ago. I had to pay a bit MUCH for it. Jay Peters became ill and his engine patterns were sold at auction in August 2005. I have no idea if castings for this engine will ever be available in the future. I'd love to build it, but I'll never get to 'em all. 3/4" bore x 1" stroke, 4-1/8" flywheels. Includes 7 gray cast iron castings, brass connecting rod and brass rocker arm bracket castings, hi-silicon aluminum piston and 2 timing gears.
