Kevin/Wendy- Just to let you know that although no cat can replace your Elvis, the name lives on...as we too have an Elvis (black and white 3 years old). Great animals these cats. Looks like yours had a good life as does our - with a chance to roam in the green.

Well, sadly, today at about 11:45 AM EST we had to have Elvis put to sleep. I was hoping he could die at home peacefully, but, he was hanging by a thread and started to show signs of extreme discomfort. There was nothing we could do to save him. Last week, he suddenly got very sick, and the vet said it was probably all related to his heart condition. Anyway, we brought him back home and he is buried out under one of our large pine trees. We'll miss him a lot!

Very nice! A nice tribute to possibly the longest-living and most daring cat I've ever had. (I think he's 13 years old.) You've captured his 'character' well!
