I had to shoot this at ASA 1600 due to difficult light. This was my first time shooting motocross, and it is pretty challenging: not only do you have to pan horizontally, but vertically as well. Hand holding was the only way to do this, so the IS was indispensable. Even with it though, there were lots of duds.
