wrexmaniac

just outside Augusta, WA

I've read a few people's comments saying that the EF 75-300 III lens isn't very good. Well I'm very happy with mine. This shot was taken in without a tripod, at full zoom, in very overcast conditions, using sports mode. It's been lightened in PSE, but apart from that and some rubber-stamping to shorten some grass that was across the roo's body, the picture is untouched.

Looks good to me. Nice shot, great timing with him in midair.

Great shot. I also use that same lense and have no real complaints about it considering its price range.

Good capture. Nice sharp action photo. I also like the DOF. Looks like the lens is working well for you.

LOL @ Fred. Too funny.

Nice Shot, man that's one big rabbit with a long tail too! Our rabbit's have much smaller tails. :)

I too, like the lens. The surf shot in this gallery was taken with the 75-300 USM III (non-IS). I like how fast it seems to focus.

Again, Nice shot...

I echo your comments. I've taken some bird photos and have no complaints on the lens. Great shot. Was this taken near where you live?
