These macaws were fighting not kissing. They were very talkative after the 10-minute-warning announcement about the zoo closing for the day, so perhaps the lower bird wanted the top bird's perch, being nearer to where the keeper would come in to feed them. After a brief spat, the lower bird returned to it's own perch nearer the center of the enclosure.
