France and Italy

This gallery documents a first trip to Italy in June of 2004. The base location was Cortona, where "Under the Tuscan Sun" was filmed and where Frances Mayes, the author of the book now lives. It is one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. I rented a 250 year old farmhouse in the valley just below Cortona. Please enjoy the visuals here, and I hope they convey some of the beauty of the Italian countryside.

Beautiful images that make you wish you were there. The clarity and depth of the images make me envious that I wasn't there to see it in person, but am happy just to have seen them.
