"SEED DREAMING" was inspired by the 2012 Ancestral Modern aboriginal art exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum. I knew I wanted to do a mosaic about the land that incorporated terra cotta, brown, beige, and black pieces.

MATERIALS: unglazed porcelain; smalti, obsidian (Apache tears); and glass.

SIZE: There are two panels like this one, each 36" x 18" (18" x 36"). The smaller piece measures 18" x 18".
