Catherine Eligh's monument is truly impressive. Catherine was 67 when she died on March 2, 1912. The craftsmanship in the monument is awesome, and it looks like someone is busy cleaning off 94 years of dirt.Catherine was 20 at the end of the US Civil War. It's cool to think that Catherine Eligh was laid to rest around the time that the Titanic went down. What was life like in 1912? Gaslight, probably no Tim Horton's, and about 3 or 4 cars in the whole city. These people had to deal with things that we couldn't conceive of now! Whattaya mean, no Internet? Didn't they at least have dial-up?
