All my shots with it were hand held. I was testing the lens for the camera store and I purposely took shots handheld because the store owner said it could not be done well. On or off a tripod, I found the lens to be very good.

How do I add it to my list of lenses in Pbase? It does not fit in the lense field. Can anybody help? Thanks!

I am really enjoying this lens. Very sharp for the price, and the reach is incredible on a APS-C sensored digital SLR. Needs to be tripod mounted unless you are the rock of Gibralter.
