Linas here-above has made realistic comments. Excellent buy, especially considering the price. Mounted on a Nikon D70 (6 mpix) the focusing is sharp when you stop down. Comes with a lens hood. Am very happy with this lens too.

Positive:
- price;
- good image quality anywhere from 55 to 200 mm;
- small and light weight;
Negative:
- slow and noisy autofocus;
- front element rotates while focusing, can be difficult to use polarizing filter.
Overall, I'm very happy with this lens.

This is a fine lens, the best you can get for $100.
