Very well build, electronic viewfinder, nice 614,000 dot display, very responsive and excellent picture quality are the main features of this camera. It is very affordable too. Make sure you buy the F2 30mm pancake-lens with it, and you will have a very compact camera. And that is what it is all about.. have a small but good quality camera. The F2.8 20mm pancake-lens is a bit less good, but still better than any entry zoom out there, and it is as small as the 30mm. The now available NX11 is a bit quicker than the older brother and has a different grip, but for the rest the same camera. A lot of samples here:http://www.pbase.com/koekjeman

I just love this little camera; RAW, IR capability, all manual lenses fit beautifully, movies in HD, sound recording, on top of that it is light, portable and with all the bells and whistles (can run in any combination from full idiot-mode to all manual). Outstanding – my canon gear is collecting dust somewhere on the shelves. Can’t think of anything this little camera can NOT do! I utterly do NOT care about original Samsung lenses – using a full range of manuals (FD Canon, Zeiss, Nikon, etc.) and I’m over the moon. I use the trigger 75% less often (as compared to my DSLR Canon), quality of shots has improved to 8-9/10 shots taken (sharpness, quality, overall look and feel). a con I have – video is mp4 (who uses this silly format anyway?); 2 wish-list bullets – open/tilt back screen and back screen viewer on/off button would just make my day.
