Can you believe I got one of these in September of 2007 with the booster grip in virtual "brand new" condition for less than $90.00 plus shipping costs? A superb, alto somewhat outdated camera. What are the strong points? ITS TOUGH. Metering is superb. Its got some mass to it which makes it a stable platform for action photography. It takes simple AA batteries. It helps to make FILM as still viable platform for my photography. Autofocus is excellent. You owe it to yourself to use one these "pieces of machinery" for at least one day.

I just started shooting the N90s about a year ago, so far its held up well through the seasons.... i liked it so much that i bought another for B&W film... and Seeing as most of my shooting is done in Abandoned buildings and other sorts of dirty places... this sucker is a BEAST!!! it'll never hold up to my Pentax K1000 for durability, but for a more advanced Pro SLR its great... and i will use it up until the day it breaks... that is if it ever happens

I got one of these because I did not like my F4, that was slow, but the N90s is quick and a lot better, very well bult, I've been in a few scrap's with camera and it just keeps going.

I'm very pleased with this camera. AF is fast compared to the old Pentax PZ-1P I used previously. Not hard to learn to use. Rugged and durable.

I particularly am very happy with this camera, it is already 10 years that I have it, and yes, I have had some ware and tare problems. Perhaps the most bothersome feature of it is it's autofocus it is not as precise as the F-4 or other Canon series all do the focus prediction is usefull for action photos. For the rest, it endured working in snow blizards at -30º C (not without batery problems) and at 53ºC in the Pakistan Afghan border, it has endured some rain to, without having any problems. When I bought it I was a bit reticent about such an electronic camera, but the truth is that it has prooved me to bee a very good one... at least mine.
