Often referred to as the "Beercan" because of it's size and shape is almost a perfect copy of one, this lens has reached a cult status within the Minolta community for the amazing performance it gives at such an economical price. This lens features great clarity and a smooth bokeh not often seen in consumer grade glass and offers an affordable alternative for many photographers to the much more expensive 70-200/2.8 SSM if you want a lens in this range but don't like the hefty price tag of the pro glass. The only real issues with 70-210/4 that you have to be careful of are possible CA and some heavy flare when shooting into the light. Otherwise, you will find this a great telephoto zoom for the price.
