At near end, it suffered from medium astigmatism with moderate spherical aberration. At this point, EF85/1.2L is better in terms of color and resolution. At infinity, the performance is restored due to the increased of contrast and sharpness. Stop down, its performs like a charm. The color is rich and it also produces very nice creamy bokeh. It's a versatile lens can be used for portrait and landscape.
