What would be the best f stop for micro-contrast ?

The latest Summilux E60 is almost the best 50mm in 135 SLR. At wide-open the resolution is sill good, but with some degree of CA. Stopped down is where the magic comes. It produces clean and 3D effect images due to its high micro-contrast ability. I have never seen a 50mm which can produce as high micro-contrast image as this one.
