Back in 1959 I worked after school in a darkroom processing "walking pictures" taken on the holliday camps in Towyn and Abergele North Wales. The owner of the business was a Mr. Wilson and his photographers were all issued with this 250 leica. The film was developed, dried and printed in the evenings and the prints were on display and for sale in Kiosks by the next morning. We had to finish all of this hand printing on Leitz Focomat enlargers before we could go home. The prints were all printed on postcard size but two identical pictures on one card.

I have to differ from Daniele. My grandfather used one of these from 1940 to 1944. He would have preferred it in black(more discreet) but was only ever saw them in chrome.

The Leica 250 Reporter GG was never made in chrome. Most probably this example was refinished and chromed later.
I'm just wondering who's the lucky owner of these beauties. Congratulations!
