Fuji point and shoot pocket cameras are the KING of low light photography! I have a Canon I use for during the day but when the sun goes down, this is the camera I reach for. The pictures it takes in dim environments are unmatched by any other maker short of a DSLR.

Great Camera for little money. Noise is absent just to ISO400, even ISO800 is very usefull. A DSLR for your pocket.

Its a serious little automatic camera that can capture some seriously nice images! Some challenges are; purple fringing (can be fixed) and blown highlights (can be avoided), so to get the most out this camera, its helpful to have or develop some basic photographic skills and apply some post production processing to the images, if you do your DSLR might grow dust, when you can carry such a powerful tool the size of a pack of smokes.

I just love it. I haven't shot any 'serious' image with it. But for casual / fun photography, there's nothing can beat this little gem. I shot lantern festival with it at ISO 400-1600.

Destined to be the hit of the year, the F30 is the finest low light digicam I've encountered. My vocabulary isn't large enough to express my delight with its performance yesterday at an indoor dog show, where lighting can be very challenging. I worked in manual, setting it on ISO 800, occasionally on 1600 and used NO NOISE REDUCTION on my images. The auto white balance was fabulous and only a couple of times did I have to reduce the yellow a slight bit. The flash performance amazed me too. It throttles back marvelously and fills subtly. I couldn't have been happier. My only problem was the fact that my Lexar 6 in 1 USB 2 card reader won't read the xD card, so I used the usb cable...but considering the size and large exposed contact area of the card, it might very well be a better idea to skip the card reader. I found the F30 a lot more enjoyable to carry around than the 10 lbs of dslr plus 2 lens I carried on Saturday! (Actually I did take the dslr on Sunday, along with the F30, but it didn't get used!) I have to say that I am really surprised, really amazed about some reviewrs here comparing this camera to cameras that arent even close to its level, surprised that they have given this camera only 3 stars, youll dont have to take my word on it, just search the net enter some proffesional photography web sites and understand how advanced and smashing this camera is.
i really cant compare it to any camera out in the market, not in any terms!! just few things to make youll understand what we are talking about:
1) with its battery i was able to take almost 600 pics in one charge, no other product even comes close to these numbers.
2) the picture quality is not somthing that can be compared to any camera in the market, especially in the night or in dark situations.
3) lcd screen is better and brighter then any camera out there and it also has anti glare.
4) it has some technological features that make other brands and models seem outdated, this is the main subject i would recomend youll to read about and check into.
I wouldn't recomend this camera to people that just want to look at the screen and shoot, this camera asks to be used manually or should i say use its manual options, if your looking for a camera where youve to just look at the screen and shoot, this isnt the one for you, look elsewhere, but if you want to use it a bit more seriously, it doesnt get better then this.
