An excellent lens that also works well with a 1.4X TC/extender & 1D series body.

The birds in these galleries were shot with a 70-200mm f/2.8, 300mm f/2.8, 300mm f4 and the 800mm f/5.6, at their native focal lengths and with the 1.4X and 2X TCs. The bodies are 10D, 30D, 1D mark III.
