Bud Styple is back on the radio - newpirateradio.com - so far just Sat and Sun 12-4. He hasn't gotten his music on there just yet, but he's happy to be on the air, learning how to "spin" the music digitally. Give him a call if you can - 813-935-5556.

I consider myself very lucky to have been involved,in a small part, with the greatest radio station to hit the airways. The station and all the people involved changed my life in a magical way. What about us who built the station from scratch in 1957? Before going FM in 1957, it was WVIK-AM (viking broadcasting). Some of the names were Hal Kahn, Jim Williams, Ruth Burrell, etc.

Holy shit !!! I was just wrapping up my daily review of my favorite porn sites when for the hell of it I typed my name in the Google search. Dan's pics came up and I almost fell over (no I wasn't working on a 12 pack)I'm into single malt scotch now. The memories came flooding back. Thank you Dan for letting me laugh, smile, sigh and yes cry (96 tears of course)to again relive some of the best years of my life. The only complaint I have is that there were too many pics of Frank O'Toole. The one of his wife was hot "Hello Elaine". By the way, I do believe I still have a video taken at the station around 1983. I'll start looking. Thanks again Dan and to all of you "KEEP ROCKIN' YOUR ASSES OFF". I love you all. Especially you teenage girls. But then and again you must be in your 40's by now. But thats OK. Until the next time. Bud Styple

I was there, for obvious reasons don't remember much, so I'm really thankful that Dan was also there to capture the moments. The rugs...the ratty couch...the back office...and most importantly, the stank.
It all comes back.
