Fall 2011 Provo River

Wednesday, October 26. Noon temperature at Provo Canyon was 39 degrees. But the colors were nice.
Saturday, November 12: A cold, very windy day. Snow was just begining to fall, the wind was playing havoc with the falls (the first six images).

What amazing photos....are you sure you are not taking photos of Denver, Colorado?
And just think how much more amazing if you were shooting a Panasonic or Nikon!

Fall is a lovely season and thank you for sharing with us the beautiful scenes you saw. Sky, river, moutains and trees are just in harmony. They are just as a whole.

Thank you Jim. I've always loved your eye for a photo. We've spent time on the Provo River Trail and love it. Before retirement I used to drive from Riverton to run various stretches of the trail. My national guard unit used to complete its 2-mile run on the trail.

We now find ourselves in Mbuji-Mayi, DR Congo. Not so picturesque. But I'm sure that with your eye you could find interesting things to photograph. Check out a few of our photos at abcongo.blogspot.com.
